Dr. Christine Weidemann graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Aquatic Biology and Minor in Exercise and Health Science. It was during that time that she found her calling and passion to help people through physical therapy. She then pursued her goal of working in the health care profession by graduating with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at the prestigious University of Southern California in May of 2010. In 2013, she tested and received her Orthopedic Certified Specialty (OCS). She is also currently taking classes to help with lymphedema management for patients recovering from treatments to fight cancer. She is also in the process of becoming Pilates certified through Body Arts and Science International (BASI) in 2015 to be able to better combine physical therapy with Pilates to help her patients regain optimal movement and postural strength to decrease strain on injuries. When she is not working, she enjoys the outdoors especially the beautiful beaches of southern California. She also enjoys traveling and experiencing the different cultures of the world. By continuing her learning, she has become even more aware that she can expand on her abilities to help her patients reach his/her functional goals. Languages spoken: German.
